  • Did you know we have ebooks and digital audiobooks in available in Destiny? Login with your MSDWT information, look for ebooks or digital audio and enjoy. (There is also an app for iPads and iPhones called Destiny Read, but you have to checkout the book first in the web-based Destiny.)

  • There are free digital books out there. No need to subscribe or sign up for trials for Project Gutenberg or UPenn's Online Book Page. These are bare-bones sites committed to giving all access to legal PDF copies of works in the public domain...no apps needed to read!

  • Publisher ABDO has released its ebook collection to students for free at-home reading. Although much of their HS collection is nonfiction, you can still learn a new skill (like origami!) or read to a younger sibling or relative.

  • Many readers and writers love fanfiction sites. Try Teen Ink and Quotev for fanfic works geared to high school students. There are other huge fan fiction
